Washington, D.C. – Today, MoveOn Political Action is demanding swift action from the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in response to four complaints filed by End Citizens United (ECU), which detail alleged illegal coordination and support between Republican operatives and Jill Stein, Cornel West, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaigns.
“Jill Stein, Cornel West, and RFK Jr. have been willingly co-opted by MAGA Republicans who are trying to sow chaos and undermine our elections. The Republican effort to play fast and loose with election law to prop up third-party candidates is nothing less than an assault on our democracy. By playing along with Trump, these third party candidates are just as culpable,” said MoveOn spokesperson Britt Jacovich.
The complaints include allegations against Stein, West, and RFK Jr., who has “suspended” his campaign to join Donald Trump’s team. They include:
An FEC complaint against Stein and GOP operatives about illegal support and coordination around ballot access in New Hampshire
An FEC complaint against West and GOP operatives about illegal support and coordination over ballot access across several battleground states, which builds on ECU’s previous complaint against West and GOP operatives
An FEC complaint against RFK Jr’s campaign and attorney Paul Rossi about illegally providing legal services without payment or reporting of in-kind contributions
An IRS complaint against More Voter Choice Fund Inc. for failing to properly disclose a contribution from the pro-RFK Jr. American Values PAC

ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND:
Trump allies have publicly plotted to spoil the election against Democrats by backing third-party candidates, including Stein, West, and RFK Jr. Across the country, they’re using dirty tricks to swindle voters, boost Donald Trump, and siphon votes from the Harris-Walz ticket.
Stein paid $100,000 to MAGA operative and January 6 insurrectionist Trent Pool.
In Nevada, the Green Party is seeking reinstatement on the ballot, with representation by Jay Sekulow, an attorney who represented Trump during his impeachment trials.
Stein accepted legal representation from Michael D. Dean, a Wisconsin lawyer involved in lawsuits attempting to overturn the 2020 election results on behalf of Trump.
MAGA activist and GOP operative Scott Presler said it was a personal goal to get Stein on the ballot in Pennsylvania.
Republicans across the country have deceived voters across the country by tricking them into signing petitions for West under false pretenses. When confronted with Trump operatives illegally aiding his campaign, West refused to condemn their actions or reject the help.
Trump has previously praised third-party candidates for taking Democratic votes: “Cornel West—he’s one of my favorite candidates. I like her also—Jill Stein. You know why? She takes 100% from them. He takes 100%. Kennedy—probably 50-50.”
