MoveOn Slams RFK Jr. for Desperately Begging Trump and Harris for Jobs as His Campaign Flounders

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, MoveOn Political Action slammed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for desperately begging both Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris for a job, while his campaign flounders. The Washington Post reports that RFK Jr. sought a meeting to discuss dropping out and endorsing Harris, but her team has rebuffed the offer and refuses to meet with him.

“While Donald Trump is entertaining RFK Jr.’s anti-abortion, conspiracy theory nonsense, Vice President Harris won’t give him the time of day. Harris doesn’t need the endorsement of an avowed anti-vaxxer who wants to ban abortion nationwide,” said MoveOn spokesperson Britt Jacovich. “RFK Jr.’s campaign is disintegrating, and his job search reeks of desperation. It’s long past time for RFK Jr. to drop out of this race so the American people can focus on the clear choice they have this election between Harris’s vision for our future and Trump’s Project 2025 obsession with the past.”

This development follows numerous stories that RFK Jr. has had private conversations with Donald Trump and high-level discussions with the Trump campaign about dropping out in order to curry favor for a White House Cabinet position. Per reports, the Trump campaign is STILL in touch with RFK Jr. and might even offer the antivax conspiracist a job at the Department of Health and Human Services.

Over the last six weeks, RFK Jr.’s campaign has posted anemic fundraising numbers. His polling decreases by the day, and he is losing key ballot challenges because he’s lied about his residency.
