NJ.com: Harris vs. Trump spoiler’s supporter says the quiet part out loud

“We are not in a position to win the White House, but … we could deny Kamala Harris the state of Michigan.”

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, NJ.com reported that while introducing Jill Stein at a recent event, activist Kshama Sawant openly admitted that Stein had no chance of winning the White House, but that their goal was to spoil the election by denying Harris a win in Michigan – ultimately gifting Trump the presidency.

Excerpts below:

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein stands no chance of becoming president. It’s even clear to some of her supporters.

But a vote for Stein in a critical state could accomplish one goal: keeping Kamala Harris out of the White House in her race against Donald Trump.

Former Seattle City Council member and prominent Indian-American political activist Kshama Sawant made that clear at a recent event.

Here’s what Sawant had to say:

“The election has already started. Absentee ballots have been sent. We need to catch up rapidly. We need everyone here to get active. We need to be clear about what our goals are. We are not in a position to win the White House, but we do have a real opportunity to win something historic, we could deny Kamala Harris the state of Michigan. And the polls show that most likely Harris cannot win the election without Michigan.”

Jill Stein is increasingly telegraphing her efforts to undermine Democrats and downplaying Republican attacks on our democracy, and espouse MAGA views: Stein recently said she is open to pardoning individuals who attacked the Capitol on January 6th at Trump’s direction and said the attempted overthrow of the 2020 election was “blown up for political reasons.”

Not only do Stein and Trump share the same dangerous opinions about the deadly insurrection, according to four complaints filed with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), they’re also playing on the same team. The complaints, filed by End Citizens United (ECU), detail alleged illegal coordination and support between Republican operatives and Stein, Cornel West, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaigns. The complaints show that Republicans illegally helped third-party candidates deceive voters to gain ballot access, helped source phony ballot electors, and broke campaign finance laws.
