Washington, D.C. – Today, MoveOn Political Action lampooned Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for his sad and short-lived bid to become Donald Trump’s running mate. Politico reports that Trump and RFK Jr. met this morning in Milwaukee, just hours before Trump announced he’d chosen Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio. 

RFK Jr. has long shared views with Trump, including expressing openness to Trump’s Project 2025 takeover plan and a national abortion ban. Last month, RFK Jr., in an effort to debase himself for Trump’s approval, was quick to defend the former president as he was found guilty of 34 felonies. 

“RFK Jr. and Donald Trump are two peas in a conspiracy-pilled pod. They both share the same donors, dangerous stances on abortion, and anti-science agenda. Given their mutual love of the Project 2025 takeover plan, which will threaten our personal freedoms and hurt the middle class, it should come as no surprise that RFK Jr. got caught groveling to Trump for the vice presidency as a life raft off of the sinking ship that is his campaign,” said Britt Jacovich, MoveOn spokesperson. “RFK Jr. can cosplay as an Independent all he wants, but in reality, he’s nothing more than a Trump puppet.”
