ROUNDUP: Republicans Boost Dangerous Third Party Candidates As VP Harris Builds Post-Debate Momentum

Washington, D.C. – As Vice President Kamala Harris builds momentum after her debate victory, Republicans continue their coordinated plot to boost Cornel West and Jill Stein. Their strategy boils down to this: by siphoning votes from Harris in key battleground states, they will deliver Donald Trump the White House and begin executing Project 2025.

That’s why MoveOn Political Action and Third Way are raising the flag on third party threats. Read our latest strategy memo here

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. may have dropped out, but he remains on the ballot in roughly two dozen states, including in Michigan and Wisconsin. In North Carolina, the right wing Supreme Court sabotaged early voting by granting RFK Jr.’s demand to have his name removed after millions of ballots had already been printed.

In other ballot access news, a Georgia judge has disqualified Cornel West. However, it’s too late for his name to be removed from ballots. In Michigan, West is slated to appear on the ballot after the state Supreme Court declined to reverse lower judges’ rulings on the matter. Meanwhile, RFK Jr. is seeking federal intervention to get off the ballot. But in Nevada, the Supreme Court barred the Green Party – and hence Jill Stein.

Meanwhile, Stein continues making a fool of herself in national interviews and by picking fights with AOC. Appearing as a guest on the Breakfast Club, she butchered question after question, proving herself once again an unserious candidate for president. When asked how many members of the House of Representatives there were, Stein incorrectly guessed “600 something.” After Stein tried dinging AOC for following “DNC marching orders”, the hosts schooled Stein saying “The one thing AOC has done that you haven't is win some elections." Ouch.

AOC weighed in on X: “Nobody needs talking points to know Jill Stein hasn’t won so much as a bingo game in the last decade and if you actually give a damn about people, you organize, build power and infrastructure, and win.” Double ouch.
