Washington, D.C. – As Trump doubled-down on Project 2025 with an anti-abortion extremist joining his ticket, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. continued deepening his relationship with Donald Trump, doing everything he can to get Trump back into the White House.
A leaked phone call between RFK Jr. and Donald Trump, posted by the candidate’s own son, reveals the depths of collusion between MAGA world and third-party spoilers. Trump encouraged RFK Jr. to support him publicly, while RFK Jr. nodded along to Trump’s anti-vax conspiracy rant. When Trump said, “and we’re gonna win,” RFK Jr. replied succinctly, “Yeah.”
It was also reported that Trump and RFK Jr. met in Milwaukee just hours before Trump announced he’d chosen Ohio Senator J.D. Vance to be his running mate. And later this month, RFK Jr. and Trump will be co-headlining the Bitcoin 2024 conference.
But of course, RFK Jr. and Trump have plenty more in common than interest in cryptocurrency:
Just last week, damning flight logs revealed that both RFK Jr. and Trump traveled on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s plane.
Both RFK Jr. and Trump have made flippant, dismissive statements about sexual harassment allegations lodged against them. (When RFK Jr. was asked a week ago whether there would be more allegations, he replied, “We’ll see.”)
While his public statements have been all over the place, RFK Jr. has repeatedly signaled support for the same abortion ban supported by Trump.
It’s no wonder that Republican operatives – and well-known GOP donors with names like Koch, Mellon, and Uihlein – are behind efforts to get Kennedy and other third-party spoilers like Cornel West on the ballot in key battleground states. Of course, it’s all in service of enacting Project 2025’s dangerous proposals and setting the country back decades.
